Dressing Up Windows: Beauty and Functionality

Window treatments not only dress up a window and entire room, they can be used for blocking out light and saving energy.

These draw drapes on a large bay window allow light to come into the room by completely opening up the window.  When closed they provide the homeowner complete privacy.

The rods are mitered at the corners to accommodate the bay window.

A coordinated bedskirt ties the room together.

These split draw drapes are blackout lined and block out all light when closed.  They also provide insulation for the window throughout the year, helping keep energy costs down.

The side panels help soften the large log cabin living room.

A coordinating valance dresses a bay window that already has wood blinds.
