Look at that view!

We just finished installing window treatments for a condo at Sugar Mountain. We worked with designer Lisa Adams from Pleasing Mona in Banner Elk, NC.
Since most of our work is in the mountains, one of the main concerns for homeowners is not blocking their million dollar view. We never like to cover up much of any window, but especially a window with a view. This condo at Sugar Mountain is a perfect example of having nice window treatments without covering any of the window and view.

Master Bedroom - Since the bed is in between the two windows, the panels have to draw one way. They frame the bed so nicely.

This inverted pleat valance is perfect for anyone who just wants a nice tailored look. These drapes are blackout lined with a sheer drape that draws also. You can see the mountain view through the sheers.

The valances are mounted at different heights, because the sliding door has an added transom window at the top. It was the best solution for this type of scenario.

Here he is...our installer, Jim (aka - my dad), putting up a decorative traverse rod with regular traverse rod behind it.

Living Room drapes slightly closed.

Living Room drapes completely open. They add softness to the large room without taking up any of the view.
This is the view from Sugar Mountain that we didn't want to cover up with the drapes.
The patch of snow is part of Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. We had quite an interesting view while installing the window treatments. Can you spot the snowboarder?
