Happy Thanksgiving!

As the holidays begin, Sew Bee It is busy making homes more beautiful!  We have a lot to be thankful for.

The window treatments featured on this post were designed by designer Kelly Rucker of Tatum Galleries.

Beautiful Designs

We have the pleasure of working with many wonderful interior designers.  One of those designers is Cari Halsey of Carrington Design.  Here are pictures of some of the work we have done for her over the past month.

We applied the trim in a special design on the throw pillows.  It's the details that make a difference!

Side Panels - Timeless Window Treatments

Side panels are a classic window treatment that will never go out of style.  They add color and softness to any room.  Side panels can be simple or very detailed.

These side panels frame a bay window without taking up any of the glass.

Casual pleated side panels add softness to this bedroom.

Another style of casual pleats.

This swag with attached bullion fringe dresses up the panel.  Designed by Pat Frantzen.

This side panel has an attached valance out of contrast fabric.  A decorative trim adds extra detail.

This beautiful side panel was designed by designer Cari Halsey of Carrington Design.
The panel is pulled back with a medallion to show the decorative lining.

Window Treatments and More!

Although we specialize in custom window treatments and bedding, we are often asked to do other types of sewing projects.

Here are a few fun items that we have made this past year.

Our mascot Joey posing with a custom chair cushion for a small rocking chair.

We made these "grab bags" for a business to use when raffling off items.

These oversized floor pillows have faux fur on the front and leather on the back.

This antique chair was spruced up with recovered cushions.

Here are some recent window treatments to share.

An adorable button-back valance mounted inside the molding.

Swag valance on rod and rings over split draw drapes.

Before and After

One of my favorite things to hear from a homeowner after an installation is "Wow I didn't realize that adding window treatments would make that big of a difference."  I like to take before and after pictures to show how much the treatments add to a room.  Here are a few from recent jobs.

The first job was for Margaret Handley from Dianne Davant Interiors.
This before and after set shows how drapes can make a window appear larger.
