Bringing in the Holidays

The holiday season is upon us!  We hope that you take time to enjoy the busy month ahead.

The following pictures are from a job we did for Dianne Davant of Dianne Davant Interiors.  The house was beautifully decorated with an elegant mountain style.

The kitchen window featured a large cornice with nail heads along the top and bottom.

Exceptional Design

We recently finished and installed window treatments and bedding for designer Tammy Taylor with Tammy Taylor Interiors.   All of the treatments turned out beautiful.  It's fun to create and install styles that you don't see everyday.

Side panels hung on medallions.
Panels have a special gathered top.

Pole swag valance and side panels.

Fitted quilt with decorative shams and pillows.
Picture perfect!
This unique treatment turned out so beautiful.
Mounted with medallions and swooped over the window.
An elegant way to dress a tall and open window.

Red silk panels dress up this dining room window.

Medallions are a great choice for an arched window because you can follow the curve.

Beautiful Bedding

This summer we made bedding for a beautiful home near Boone, NC.  When it was time to install the bed skirts, duvet covers, coverlets and pillow shams, my friend Lindsey Sutphin came to help.  She is an amazing artist and has a wonderful eye when it comes to photography (and all things art for that matter).
She took some pictures of our work from a different perspective and with attention to details.  I wanted to share the pictures to show off our work and Lindsey's too!

Here is a link to Lindsey's blog Owl Handmade.

The pillow shams have a ruffled edge with contrast welt between the pillow and ruffle.

The euro shams have knots on the corners.
The standard and king pillow shams have a hand pleated ruffle and contrast welt.
The coverlet has a scalloped edge with self welt.
The bed skirt is pleated with contrast pleats.
